The crew is fronted by rappers Obyrins, Wicigo Shawty, toxicdev!, azuraa, Bhanz, Db Mandala, Vhanz, and Gace, each contributing a distinct voice and persona. Around them, a core of producers: toxicdev!, azuraa, Vhanz, Fat Rorry, and Weirdkihiko, shape the collective’s sound with both experimental edges and hard-hitting foundations, while 6wrkge6 serves as visual director, ensuring the PORIS aesthetic carries across artwork, stage presence, and media. Together, they form a tightly woven unit where roles overlap, collaborations shift, and the identity of PORIS is greater than the sum of its parts.
In 2024, the crew released their debut album Anak Kampung Lifestyle Rockstar through PreachJa Records, a ten-track manifesto that captures the spirit of the collective. Songs like “Anak Kampung Lifestyle Rockstar,” “Tutup Kuping,” “bukandripiniocean,” “Lava,” and “2014” showcase different member spotlights, moving seamlessly from blown-out anthems to experimental cuts. A year later, they followed with the maxi-single Di Bawah Bulan Di Atas Atap, featuring Concerto and abim, revealing a more atmospheric side to their sound while keeping the raw energy intact.
Their live shows have already started to turn heads, with a standout performance at Pestapora 2024 on the Microgram Alternative Stage. On stage, PORIS radiates the same urgency and chemistry that runs through their recordings, pulling the underground ethos of Tangerang into the festival spotlight. With their blend of local identity, experimental drive, and collective energy, PORIS embodies what it means to be “kampung rockstars”, a crew rooted in their neighborhood but pushing their sound toward national recognition.
